Slain sandalwood smuggler Veerappan's second daughter Vijayalakshmi is set to make her Kollywood entry. Vijayalakshmi is playing lead role in the movie tentatively titled Maaveeran Pillai which is being Directed and produced by KSR Raja. The first look poster of the film was released on Friday (April 2,2021).
Interestingly, in the poster of Maaveeran Pillai, Vijayalakshmi is seen standing holding a gun on her shoulder resembling her late father Veerappan. With this the film is expected to be an elastic story in the context of sandalwood smuggling.
On the other hand, Veerappan's eldest daughter Vidyarani has recently joined the BJP. Veerappan, who terrorized the states of Kerala and Tamil Nadu, was killed in an encounter in 2004.
