Makkal Needhi Maiam president and actor Kamal Haasan is currently admitted to a private hospital in Chennai after he caught Covid-19. With this, the fans started worrying about Kamal's health. On Wednesday, actress and Kamal's daughter Shruti Haasan took to social media to give an update about her father's health.
"Thank you for all your wishes and prayers for my father's health. He is recovering well and is looking forward to interacting with all of you soon," the 'Gabbar Singh' actress wrote.
"I had mild cough following my return from the USA. When I tested, the coronavirus infection was confirmed. I have isolated myself in hospital. Everyone should be on guard realising that the COVID-19 spread has not faded," Kamal Haasan tweeted on Monday.
Shruti Haasan was recently roped in for Nandamuri Balakrishna's 107th movie, which is directed by Gopichand Malineni. The actress is also doing a film opposite Prabhas. Titled 'Salaar', it is directed by Prashanth Neel.
