Tollywood actor Manchu Vishnu on Saturday took oath as president of the Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA) at Film Nagar Cultural Centre in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. MAA Returning Officer Krishnamohan has administered an oath with Vishnu and his panel members. Later, he distributed certificates to EC members.
Telangana Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has attended as a chief guest for oath taking ceremony. Senior Tollywood actor Mohan Babu and Vishnu’s wife and his children were also present.
Manchu Vishnu, the elder son of Mohan Babu, defeated veteran actor Prakash Raj to win the presidency in a heated campaign. Vishnu is said to have extended invitations to all members of MAA to attend his swearing-in ceremonyManchu Vishnu thanked the media for extending support to him during MAA elections.
