Megastar Chiranjeevi, who is currently busy with final leg shooting for Koratala Siva’s Acharya will be next seen in the remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer. To be produced by NV Prasad, the film rumoured to be titled Godfather was launched earlier this year and Mohan Raja will be the director.
Post Lucifer, Chiranjeevi will be seen in 2015 Tamil film Vedalam remake. Meher Ramesh will direct the Telugu remake. Interestingly, it is being rumoured that Keerthy Suresh will feature in the crucial role of Chiru’s younger sister. The role is quite important in the film and was played by Lakshmi Menon in the Tamil version. Keerthy has reportedly signed the dotted line for Chiru's sister role and is a part of the project.
Reports claim that AK Entertainments who will be bankrolling the project are planning to officially announce it on 22nd August, which marks Chiranjeevi’s birthday.
Keerthy Suresh is currently busy shooting for Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata.
