Akhil Akkineni, who is awaiting the release of his fourth film Most Eligible Bachelor, teamed up with director Surender Reddy of “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy” fame for a project which is titled Agent. Young model Sakshi Vaidya will romance Akhil, who is playing the role of a spy in this espionage-thriller, backed by Anil Sunkara.
Now the latest news is that Malayalam superstar Mammootty has been reportedly roped in to play the villain in Agent. Initially, the producers selected Mohanlal and Upendra for the role, but it never materialised.
Vakkantham Vamsi has penned the story for the film that has by SS Thaman.
