Rowdy star Vijay Devarakonda on Wednesday resumed shooting for his upcoming multilingual movie Liger directed by Puri Jagannadh. Puri Connects and Dharma Productions released a picture of Vijay sitting inside a boxing ring with his back to the camera.

Liger is a boxing drama starring Deverakonda and Ananya Panday in lead roles. It will mark Vijay's first Bollywood venture and Ananya's first Telugu film. Liger also stars Ramya Krishna, Ronit Roy, Ali, Makarand Deshpande in pivotal roles. The film was set to release in theatres on September 9, 2021. However, due to the uncertainty surrounding theatres reopening, the makers decided to postpone the film.
