Victory Venkatesh and Meena starring Drushyam 2, the Telugu remake of the Mohanlal-led Malayalam thriller, finished its shooting in no time and the film completed all the formalities including censor. The censor officials passed the movie with clean U certificate.
Nadhiya, Naresh, Kruthika, Esther Anil reprised their roles from first part, while Sampath Raj and Poorna are the new addition for the ensemble cast. Drushyam 2 is directed by Jeethu Joseph, who helmed the original Malayalam and its sequel. The Telugu remake is bankrolled by D Suresh Babu, Antony Perumbavoor, and Rajkumar Sethupathi.
Since Drushyam was a superhit, expectations are quite high on the sequel and the film will be out on an OTT platform soon. The makers will announce its release date soon.
