Power Star Pawan Kalyan's recent courtroom drama Vakeel Saab is set to make its digital premiere on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video on April 30.
"There is a lot to look forward to in the film, right from power-packed performances filled with a roller-coaster of emotions to its storyline and subject matter. I am delighted to collaborate with Amazon Prime Video to bring the film across the world,” said director Venu Sriram.
“Fans who have watched the movie in cinema halls have loved and appreciated the film, and for a producer, there is no greater feeling than this. However, due to these challenging times, a lot of our fans could not watch the movie in theatres and I believe this makes the digital premiere of Vakeel Saab even more special,” said Producer Dil Raju.
Earlier during the media interaction, the film’s producer Dil Raju had said that Vakeel Saab will drop on the streaming platform only fifty days after its initial release. However, as the government imposed new restrictions in the face of surging coronavirus numbers, the film makers to bring forward the court room drama digital premiere.
Vakeel Saab features Shruti Haasan, Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, Ananya Nagalla, and Prakash Raj in prominent roles, and has music composed by Thaman S. The film marked Pawan Kalyan’ return to films after a three year sabbatical.
