Television actress Kamya Punjabi who rose to fame with her stint in Salman Khan's reality show Bigg Boss season 7 takes political plunge. Kamya today joined the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee in Mumbai.
Confirming the news, Congress member, Niraj Bhatia shared a picture of Kamya with Mumbai Congress President Bhai Jagtap and tweeted, "Actress @iamkamyapunjabi joins @INCIndia in Mumbai in presence of Mumbai Congress President Shri @BhaiJagtap1." The actress retweeted and added a joining hands emoji in the caption.
Kamya is known for her roles in popular television dramas like Ssshhhh…Koi Hai, Kehta Hai Dil, Astitva…Ek Prem Kahani, Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, Naaginn – Waadon Ki Agniparikshaa and more. She appeared in several minor roles in popular Bollywood films like Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, Yaadein, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani and Koi Mil Gaya.
