In a sad turn of events, Tollywood director Giridhar passed away on Sunday at his residence. He was 64. Giridhar, who was seriously injured in a road accident six years ago, has since been confined to bed. He breathed his last at his residence in Tirupati yesterday.
Giridhar worked as an assistant director for senior Tollywood directors Kodandarami Reddy, Gunasekhar and EVV Satyanarayana. He worked as AD for movies like Gudumba Shankar, Annavaram, One, Supreme and Varudu. He directed Shubha Muhurtham starring Chandramohan, Amani, Indraja, Vinod Kumar in the lead roles and received success.
Giridhar also played character roles in Express Raja, 100 Percent Love, Sardar Gabbar Singh, Srimanthudu and 20 other films. Many celebrities in the Telugu film industry mourned giridhar's death.
