Tamil superstar Suriya who is riding high with the super success of his recent OTT release Jai Bhim will be returning to the theaters next year. Suriya on Friday announced that his next film ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ (ET) will hit the theaters only.
Etharkkum Thunindhavan directed by Pandiraj will be hitting the screens worldwide on February 4, 2022. Sun Pictures, producers of the film, has made the announcement by sharing a video on Youtube. The small clip shows Suriya as a happy-go-lucky guy. Suriya’s movie will have to compete with Chiranjeevi’s ‘Acharya’ in the Telugu market.
Suriya’s recent films tanked at the box office in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. However, he gained craze with OTT releases like ‘Aakasam Nee Haddhu Ra’ and ‘Jai Bhim’.
