Kollywood actor Simbu’s much anticipated political drama ‘Maanadu’ has completed its shooting schedule and now post-production work for the film is in progress. Producer Suresh Kamatchi took to Twitter to confirm the news and shared some photos that were taken on the last day of the shoot. The makers arranged a small cake-cutting ceremony. After the last shot, Simbu along with the cast and crew cut the cake and enjoyed with the team.
Confirming this, the movie’s lead actress, Kalyani Priyadarshan tweeted,”When a 14 day schedule gets wrapped in 7 days! Vera level sir unga team.”
Maanaadu star cast also includes Kalyani Priyadarshan, SAC, S J Suryah, Karunakaran, Arvind Akash, and Premgi Amaran. The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The teaser of ‘Maanadu’ was released on Simbu’s birthday recently and impressed the audience.
Apart from ‘Maanadu’, Simbu is also part of ‘Pathu Thala’ co-starring Gautham Karthik. He will also be seen in another film to be directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. Music for the movie will be A R Rahman.
