Rahul Gandhi tested positive for Covid 19


Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi too has tested positive for COVID-19. Rahul took to Twitter and announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

"After experiencing mild symptoms, I've just tested positive for COVID. All those who've been in contact with me recently, please follow all safety protocols and stay safe," Rahul Gandhi, 50, wrote.

Rahul Gandhi had on Sunday announced that he was cancelling his planned political rallies in West Bengal citing the Covid spiral and had urged others to do the same.

“In view of the Covid situation, I am suspending all my public rallies in West Bengal. I would advise all political leaders to think deeply about the consequences of holding large public rallies under the current circumstances,” he had tweeted.
