Leading actress Nayanthara and her film director beau Vignesh Shivan reportedly made an undisclosed investment in Chennai-based start-up Chai Waale, which has raised Rs 5 crore in the latest funding round to expand its business.
In his interview, Chai Waale's founder Vidur Maheswari has said that his company has got five crores of additional investment in the new round including a major share from Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan. Chai Waale has more than twenty outlets and they are aggressively opening new outlets in Chennai city.
Nayantara will next be seen in Milind Rau's crime thriller Netrikann, in which she is playing a blind girl.
