Actress, Model and Tamil Bigg Boss 3 contestant Meera Mithun, who allegedly made derogatory remarks against people belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) in a video recently was arrested in Kerala today.
A video of her taken just before her arrest is currently trending on social media. Meera was shouting in the video that cops had arrived to arrest her and that the arrest was an injustice to a successful woman.
Several police complaints have been lodged seeking the arrest of Kollywood actor Meera Mithun, after a video of her making casteist remarks in a video that was circulated on social media. The Cyber Crime Wing Police has summoned Mira Mithun for an enquiry in connection with a case booked against her.
Reportedly, the actor has been booked under sections 153, 153A(1)(a), 505(1)(b), 505 (2) of IPC, and several sections under the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act.
