Jr NTR’s PRO Mahesh Koneru passed away due to Cardiac Arrest


Young Producer and Jr NTR's PRO Mahesh Koneru died of cardiac arrest in Visakhapatnam earlier today, leaving his family and the Tollywood fraternity in shock. He is survived by his wife and daughter.

Jr NTR tweeted that Mahesh's demise has left him shocked and speechless. “With the heaviest of heart and in utter disbelief, I am letting you all know that my dearest friend @SMKoneru is no more. I am shell-shocked and utterly speechless. My sincerest condolences to his family and his near and dear,” NTR posted on his Twitter account.

Kalyan Ram condoled the demise of Mahesh Koneru, calling it as shocking and a huge loss for the Telugu film industry.

"Absolutely shook and in disbelief. A man who is a friend, family and well wisher is no more. Mahesh Koneru garu has been our backbone no matter what. Huge loss to me personally and the whole industry. Strength to his near and dear ones (sic)," wrote Kalyan Ram Nandamuri.

Born in Vijayawada, Mahesh started his career as a reporter with a Tollywood film portal and later worked as a personal publicist to actors Jr NTR and Kalyan Ram Nandamuri. He also served as a public relations officer (PRO) for several films including Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion among others.

On his East Coast Productions Banner, Mahesh produced films like 118, Thimmarusu, Miss India, etc.
