Eight Pakistanis held with heroin worth Rs 150 crore off Gujarat coast

Early Thursday morning, officials from the Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad and the Indian Coast Guard apprehended eight Pakistani nationals and seized heroin worth around Rs 150 Crore from their possession near the Jakhau port in Gujarat's Kutch district. 

Based on a specific tip-off, a joint team of the Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad and the Indian Coast Guard  captured the boat near the International Maritime Boundary Line in the Arabian Sea.  The boat was apprehended at a spot not far from the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL), which separates India and Pakistan in the sea.

The cost of the seized psychotropic drug is an estimated Rs 150 crore in the international market.
