Two cars (a Mahindra Thar and a Toyota Fortuner) belonging to Karnataka MLA and cabinet berth aspirant Satish Reddy were set on fire outside his house allegedly by miscreants on Wednesday night.
According to the police, the miscreants had arrived at around 1:25 am and left by 1:28 am after setting the cars afire. The videos shared by the police show two people carrying fuel in a can running from there.
“Both the cars that were set on fire were parked at the MLA’s house. An investigation is on and we will check CCTV footage and other pieces of evidence collected from the area,” a senior police official who visited the spot said.
Meanwhile, Karnataka home minister visited BJP MLA Satish Reddy's house after the fire incident.
