Wrestler Bajrang Punia bags bronze with win over Daulet Niyazbekov

Wrestler Bajrang Punia on Saturday bagged the bronze medal in the 65 kg wrestling event at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics. Punia defeated Kazakhstan's Daulet Niyazbekov 8-0 to win India's sixth medal at the Tokyo Olympics, tying the London Olympic record of six medals.

Earlier in the day, Aditi Ashok had the best performance by an Indian golfer in the Olympics, but the 23-year-old was unable to secure the much-coveted medal. Aditi finished fourth after being in contention for a podium finish for the majority of the four rounds here on Saturday.
