The release date of Vijay Devarakonda and Ananya Pandey starring Liger directed by Puri Jagannath has been locked. The boxing drama also starring boxing legend Mike Tyson will release on August 25 next year.
Vijay Devarakonda made the announcement Thursday morning with a tweet that read, "It’s Time. A long journey culminates in Two very important dates! Stay Ready..And Remember the words that have been said. #Liger"
Producer Karan Johar tweeted, “THE ACTION, THE THRILL & THE MADNESS – it’s going to be a total knockout! #Liger arrives in theatres worldwide on 25th August, 2022. #LigerOnAug25th2022. Catch the first glimpse on 31st Dec and start your new year with a BANG!”
Actors Ronit Roy and Ramya Krishnan also play prominent roles in the action-packed drama. 'Liger' is being made in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam simultaneously.
