Bollywood producer and T-Series managing director Bhushan Kumar is hogging limelight for all the wrong reasons. Bhushan Kumar has been accused of allegedly raping a 30-year-old model and aspiring model on the pretext of work in films. DN Nagar police in Andheri on Friday registered a rape case against Bhushan Kumar under section 376 IPC.
According to the complainant, Kumar, the managing director of T-Series, allegedly raped the woman between 2017 and 2020 under false promise of work in films.
“We have registered a case under sections 376 (rape) , 420 (cheating) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code,’ said Milind Kurde, senior police inspector of DN Nagar police station.
Currently, an investigation is underway in the matter. There have been no arrests till now, the police told.
