Late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's ex-flatmate Siddharth Pithani has been arrested from Hyderabad today by the Narcotics Control Bureau in connection to the drug angle being probed in the case.
Mumbai Zonal Unit, NCB said, "Siddharth Pithani has been arrested. He'll be shortly produced in court." NCB has been probing the drug angle in this high-profile case for six months. Earlier, the agency had identified one Dubai-based Sahil Shah as the prime suspect.
The arrest comes almost two and half months after it filed a 12,000-page charge sheet against 33 people, including actress Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik and others in the Bollywood-drugs mafia probe case linked to Sushant's death on June 14, 2020, when he was found hanging in his flat.
