A 35-year-old fight master named Vivek died on the sets of the Kannada film Love You Racchu on August 9 while performing a stunt. The shooting took place in Jogenahalli near Bidadi, Karnataka, where the entire team was shooting a fight sequence.
Vivek was performing the stunt for the film 'Love you Rachchu' and standing on a crane near an 11-KV electric wire at Joganapalya village in the district. Somehow a metal wire came in contact with the wire and he got electrocuted. The unit members shifted Vivek to the Rajarajeshwari Medical College and Hospital in Bengaluru where the doctors declared him dead.
The police officials have taken stunt master, Vinod, into custody for further investigation. They also alleged that the mishap was due to the negligence of the film crew.
