Tollywood King Nagarjuna is portraying the role of an ex-RAW agent based in London in Praveen Sattaru's upcoming action thriller The Ghost. Kajal Aggarwal signed the film as female lead, but she opted out the movie due to her pregnancy. The makers of ‘The Ghost’ have approached a couple of actresses.
Amala Paul almost signed the project, but she lost the movie as she demanded huge remuneration for working with an actor more than double her age. Mehreen, too, did the same. And finally, Sonal Chauhan has come into the picture.
Also starring Gul Panag, the shooting of The Ghost is currently progressing at Ramoji Film City, where the makers are filming scenes involving Anikha Surendran.
The first poster of the film was unveiled on Nagarjuna’s 62nd birthday on August 29. In the poster, he can be seen holding a blood-stained sword and dressed in a hoodie as people bow down to him against the backdrop of London’s Big Ben.
