Senior Actress Kavitha’s son dies of Covid-19


Senior actress Kavitha's son Sanjay Roop fall prey to the deadly corona virus and succumbed while being treated in a hospital.  Sanjay breathed his last on June 15 due to Covid-19 complications.

According to reports, Sanjay was in home quarantine after he tested positive for Covid-19. However, after his health deteriorated, he was rushed to the hospital where he breathed his last. It is to be noted that Kavitha's husband, Dasaratha Raj, is being treated for Covid-19 in a private hospital.

In 1976, Kavitha made her debut as a child artist with Oh Manju in Tamil and Siri Siri Muvva in Telugu. She was just 11. Later, she went on to act in more than 300 films in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. She is known for her supporting roles in films like Aada Paandavulu, Chethilo Cheyyesi, Meenakshi, and Yugalageetham, among others. Currently, she is playing a pivotal role in the TV show Endrndrum Punnagai.
