Pan-India star Prabhas’ high budget sci-fi film tentatively titled Project K under the direction of Mahanati fame Nag Ashwin went on floors on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Bollywood legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has been roped in for a crucial role, star heroine Deepika Padukone is on board for the female lead role.
Now, the latest buzz is that the makers of Project K are planning to rope in South siren Samantha for a crucial role in the sci-fi thriller. Also, the makers are planning on roping in Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran for another lead role. However, there is no official word on these updates yet.
Meanwhile, Samantha is currently busy with director Guna Sekhar’s pan-India film, Shaakuntalam. The film is produced by Neelima Guna and Dil Raju under the banner of Gunaa Teamworks and Dil Raju Productions, respectively.
