It is known that director VV Vinayak is directing Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas in the Hindi remake of Chatrapathi. The film was launched in July in Hyderabad and the shooting is progressing at rapid pace. Now the latest news is that Nushrratt Bharuccha will play the love interest of Bellamkonda Srinivas in the action drama.
A source close to the development says, “Nushrratt watched the original film Chatrapati (2005) and wanted to be part the super-hit action drama. She felt a film like this would portray her as a commercial actress and give her an opportunity to tread uncharted territory.”
Director V. V. Vinayak zeroed in on Nushrratt after seeing her performance in films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. He believed that the onscreen chemistry of the couple would be good.
