Former Actress and YCP firebrand MLA and APIIC chairperson RK Roja has underwent two major surgeries at Apollo Hospitals in Chennai. Currently, her health condition is stated to be stable as she was shifted from the ICU to patient room, RK Selvamani stated.
Last week, Roja got admitted in a multispecialty hospital and she underwent two successful surgeries. Post the surgeries, Roja was admitted in ICU and this morning she was shifted to the general ward. Doctors have advised two weeks of complete bed rest for Roja. Her husband Selvamani issued a clarification on Roja’s health.
“She is doing absolutely fine and recovering. I appeal to her fans and followers not to reach the hospital. Very soon Roja will get discharged and even visit her constituency,” said Selvamani and urged for privacy.
Apparently Roja was supposed to undergo surgery last year but due to elections and Covid-19, it got postponed.
