Former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson is set to make his Bollywood debut in the upcoming sports drama “Liger” starring Vijay Devarakonda and Ananya Pandey in lead roles. Dharma Productions made Tyson’s casting announcement on its official Twitter page.
“For the first time ever, the king of the ring will be seen on the big screens of Indian cinema! Welcoming @MikeTyson to the #LIGER team! (sic),” Karan Johar wrote on his Twitter account.
Liger directed by Puri Jagannadh will feature the Arjun Reddy actor as an MMA (mixed martial arts) fighter. Liger’s team is currently canning high-octane action sequences in Goa under the supervision of stunt choreographer Kecha. The movie also stars Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Deshpande and Getup Srinu.
