We had earlier reported that Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon are stepping into the shoes of Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde for the remake of 2020 Sankranthi blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo directed by Trivikram Srinivas. Rohit Dhawan, who has previously helmed Desi Boyz (2011) and Dishoom (2016), will be directing the remake.
According to the latest updates, AVPL’s Hindi remake has been titled Shehzada. Veteran Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal has been cast in a prominent role, while Manisha Koirala is said to be playing Tabu’s role.
Shehzada will be jointly produced by Ekta Kapoor and Allu Aravind.
