Denying reports that she would soon share screen with Pan India star Prabhas in Prasanth Neel directing Salaar, Jyothika has said that while she is eager to share screen space with him, there is no film together on the cards just yet.
Rumours were doing the rounds that Jyothika has been approached to play Prabhas sister in this upcoming magnum opus. When contacted Jyotika, she denied the news. Another buzz is doing the rounds that Ramya Krishnan would also be seen playing a crucial role in the project produced by Hombale Films.
Salaar will be shot directly in Telugu and Kannada. The movie will also release in Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam simultaneously. The makers are aiming to release the film on April 14, 2022. Salaar has Shruti Haasan plays the female lead in the movie.
