Janaki Kalaganaledu is a love & Drama based story that revolves around a well-educated girl and an uneducated boy who runs a sweet shop. Janaki is an Ambitious, educated and intelligent girl who is loved by everyone. She wants to become a Reputed Officer, which is also her fathers dream.
After an unexpected tragedy in her life, Janaki's brother fixes her marriage to the hero, who runs a sweet shop. Hero is uneducated, his mother is very strict who wants her daughter-in-law to be simple and not well-educated, with the excellent skills of a housewife. After this, it would be interesting to see whether Janaki carries on to pursue her dreams and will she get any support.
The show is a remake of the previously hit Hindi serial Diya Aur Baati Hum that was telecasted on Star Plus.
