In the last 24 hours, India reported over 2 lakh new cases and over 1000 deaths, breaking another record in the regular tally of cases. The total number of cases has now risen to 14,074,564. With 10,38 COVID-related deaths the total death mounts to 1,73,123.
“Ten States including Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi,Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Rajasthanhave shown a rise in the COVID daily new cases. 82.04% of the new cases are reported from these 10 states,” the health ministry said in a statment on Wednesday.
