Apple Pie Beauty Hansika Motwani, who was last seen in Sundeep Kishan's Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL, has now signed up for a Telugu movie titled My Name is Shruthi. The film is touted to be a thriller, directed by Srinivas Omkar.
My Name is Shruthi was formally launched with a puja ceremony at Filmnagar here in the city with the cast and crew of the film in attendance. Revathi gave the clap for the muhurat shot while Vaishnavi switched on the camera. Vamsi Gaurav directed the first scene of the movie.
Murali Sharma, R Narayanan, Jayaprakash, Vinodini, Sai Teja, Puja Ramachandran, Rajiv Kanakala and many others play supporting roles. The movie is being bankrolled by Ramya Burugu, Nagendra Raju under the banner Vaishnavi Arts.
Mark K Robin has composed the music and background score for the film, while Kishore Boyidapu has handled the cinematography.
