Director Kathir best known for films like Idhayam, Uzhavan, Kadhalar Dhinam, Kaadhal Desam and Kaadhal Virus is all to weild megaphone again. Kathir recently announced his next directorial with a newcomer named Kishore and has roped in AR Rahman for music.
“Like all my films, this one will also be a love story. It will be a musical love story.” And he will be reuniting with AR Rahman after 19 years. “Yes, Rahman will be composing the music for this film. The composing is yet to begin. I am now in the process of finalising the other cast and crew for this project,” says Kathir
Kathir and AR Rahman went on to make many musical blockbusters like Kadhalar Dhinam, Kadhal Desam, and Kadhal Virus. All the songs in Kathir and Rahman’s combo were hit.
The film will be bankrolled by Kishore’s dad Ranganathan.
