Bombay High Court on Thursday granted bail to Aryan Khan, who was arrested in a alleged drug bust aboard a cruise ship by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on October 3. Aryan Khan's friend Arbaaz Merchant, and model Munmum Dhamecha, were also granted bail.
Aryan Khan, who has been in Mumbai's Arthur Road jail since October 8, had been denied bail twice before. Aryan Khan's defence team included former Attorney General of India, Mukul Rohatgi, who argued his case before the Bombay High Court. His lawyers had repeatedly pointed out that no drugs had been found on him.
Reporedly, Aryan Khan got bail 25 days after his arrest by the NCB in the case of seizure of banned drugs aboard a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast earlier this month.
