Actress Aparna Balamurali, who won praises for her role in Suriya's Soorarai Pottru, has been roped to play female lead opposite RJ Balaji in the Tamil remake of the Hindi hit film Badhaai Ho. To be directed by RJ Balaji, the title of the film is Veetla Visheshanga.
Boney Kapoor, the producer of Ajith's Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai is bankrolling the remake. The film also stars Sathyaraj and Urvashi, reprising the roles of Gajaraj Rao and Neena Gupta respectively. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be updated by the team.
The shoot of this film will go on floors in August and the makers are planning to wrap it up in one month.
