Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi on Monday unveiled the first look of Amritha Aiyer as Meenakshi from Hanuman which is being directed by Prasanth Varma. The first look of AmirthaAiyer in Hanuman features her sailing in a dreamy, animated boat and she is surrounded by flying fishes.
Amritha has previously acted in a couple of Telugu films like Red and 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela. The actor will next be seen in Sree Vishnu's Arjuna Phalguna. Prasanth Varma stated that Hanu-Man will be high on VFX. Young actor Teja Sajja is the protagonist in this first pan-Indian superhero movie.
Hanuman is bankrolled by Primeshow Entertainment and a teaser of the film was released in September featuring Teja Sajja in the jungle.Being made in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, the shooting of the film is currently underway in RFC, Hyderabad.
