We have earlier reported that Allu Arjun's daughter Allu Arha is making her acting debut with Gunasekhar's Shaakuntalam in which Samantha is playing titular role. She plays the role of Prince Bharata in this mythological drama. Now the news is that Allu Arha has completed shooting her portions in Shakunthalam.
Director Gunasekhar and the Shaakuntalam team hosted a thank-you party for Allu Arha. They had a cake-cutting session which was attended by Allu Arjun and his wife Sneha Reddy. The film's hero Dev Mohan was also present at the party.
Sharing a video from the party, Allu Arjun wrote, "Thank you @gunasekhar1 garu & @neelima_guna and the entire team of #shaakuntalam for this sweet memorable gesture. The way you & your family pampered her is unforgettable (sic)."
Shaakuntalam's story is based on a popular Indian play, Shakuntala, written by Kalidas. While Samantha Akkineni plays the titular role, actor Dev Mohan will be seen as Dushyanta, King of the Puru dynasty. The film also features Aditi Balan, Mohan Babu and Gautami in important roles.
