The suspense surrounding the release date of Akshay Kumar and Vaani Kapoor starrer Bell Bottom has finally come to an end. The makers today announced that the spy thriller will hit the cinemas worldwide on August 19 this year.
Taking to Twitter, Akshay Kumar treated his fans with a new motion poster of Bell Bottom and announced the release date. He tweeted, "Mission: To Entertain you on the BIG SCREEN… Date: August 19, 2021… Announcing the arrival of #BellBottom!"
Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, the film is inspired by true events. Akshay will be seen in a vintage action avatar as the film is set in the 1980s. Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta are part of the cast.Lara will essay the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, who was in power at that time. Vaani will play Akshay's wife in the film. The film marks Vaani's first collaboration with Akshay.
