Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, who is currently busy with a slew of projects, is all set to make his debut in the Hindi OTT scene with The Family Man creators Raj and DK’s yet-to-be-titled web-series featuring Shahid Kapoor and Raashi Khanna. An official announcement regarding Vijay’s entry into the series has been made Sunday evening.
Raashi Khanna who shared screen with Sethupathi in Sangha Tamizhan and Tughlaq Darbar is absolutely thrilled to be sharing screen space with the talented actor for thrid time. “Collaborating with my favourite human/actor for the third time, this time in Hindi..! Welcome to our set Vijay Sethupathi sir,” tweeted Raashi along with a photo with Vijay Sethupathi.
On the other hand, even Shahid expressed his excitement on joining forces with Vijay Sethupathi. “Waiting on set call me soon @rajanddk…cant wait to share the frame with @actorvijaysethupathi sorry @raashiikhanna I’ve got too used to having you around on set,” Shahid posted on his Instagram.
Sources say that for this web series, Sethupathi has been paid a whopping salary higher than his usual Tamil films. The actor will be shooting for this web series in one stretch. The makers are yet to lock the platform in which the show would be aired.
