Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar’s mother, Aruna Bhatia breathed her last today morning at Hiranandani Hospital
after battling an illness. On Wednesday morning, Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to share the tragic news.
He wrote, “She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti.”
On Monday, Akshay reached Mumbai from the UK after hearing about his mother getting admitted to the ICU. He was shooting for his upcoming film Cinderella which is progressing at the brisk pace in the UK for 15 days which he left midway.
Aruna Bhatia is survived by daughter Alka Bhatia and son Akshay Kumar. Akshay’ father had also passed away a few years ago.
