Emraan Hashmi's Ezra starts rolling in Mauritius

Emraan Hashmi, who is currently busy shooting for Rumi Jaffrey's upcoming thriller Chehre, has started shooting for his upcoming film Ezra in Mauritius.  'Ezra', which is a Hindi remake of the Malayalam supernatural thriller of the same name, is being helmed by Jay Krishnan, who also helmed the original.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Krishan Kumar and Abhishek Pathak, Ezra will also be shot in Mumbai. Rest of the details related to the film, including the casting for the female lead has been kept under wraps.

Ezra had Prithviraj Sukumaran and Priya Anand in the lead. Ezra narrates the story of a young couple who faces paranormal experience after they buy an antique shop. Soon, they learn that the box is a dybbuk, and in order to solve the crisis, they seek the help of a Rabbi. The film had hit the big screens on February 10, 2017.

Emraan is sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan in Chehre. He also has Mumbai Saga alongside John Abraham, Vayusena, in which he will step into the shoes of IAF officer KC Kuruvilla and a Netflix series titled The Bard of Blood.
