Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Friday met his Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal in New Delhi at the latter's official residence and discussed a host of issues. Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh was also present in the meeting.

"It was great meeting @ncbn ji today. We will all fight together against Modi government," Mr Kejriwal tweeted.

He shared a picture of him and Mr Naidu that the Andhra chief minister had tweeted.

Earlier in the day, Mr Naidu had met opposition leaders, including Congress president Rahul Gandhi, in an attempt to bring together opposition parties on a platform to take on BJP in the coming Lok Sabha polls.

Referring to the Union Budget, Chandrababu Naidu said in the State Assembly there was "not one word" about Andhra Pradesh in the budget and alleged that the Centre was attempting to remove the state from the country's map.

"In the initial days, there at least used to be a reference to AP. In this budget, there is not a mention of Andhra Pradesh. Looks like they ultimately want to remove AP from the India map," Naidu said.
