Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan on Thursday reaffirmed that his party would contest in all 175 constituencies in Andhra Pradesh in upcoming 2019 general elections. Pawan Kalyan has confirmed this news via his tweet, ”JanaSena Party to contest in 175 constituencies – JanaSena Chief @PawanKalyan #JSPToContestIn175Constituencies.”

Speaking to media at the party office in Vijayawada, Pawan made it very clear to said Jana Sena would go alone in the state elections and there would be no alliance with any other party.

"I want to tell everyone clearly, we will contest all 175 seats. I request everyone not to believe the words of the ruling TDP party and the opposition in the state. We condemn these comments. We will not ally with anyone except the Left parties" Pawan Kalyan told.

Pawan Kalyan alleged that some vested interests were spreading rumours that Jana Sena had entered into an alliance with the TDP.

“Some others spread the talk that we have already forged an alliance with the YSR Congress party and that we have been allotted a certain number of seats. All this is only to confuse the people and the party cadre so as to demoralise us,” he said.

Pawan said Jana Sena would encourage young leadership in the elections, while utilising the services of experienced politicians. “Women and youth would be given priority in the distribution of party tickets. We shall show a new direction to the state in the coming years,” he asserted.

It is well aware that Jana Sena got glass tumbler as its party symbol from the election commission.
