Expert Review :

Mohan Ranga (Nithiin) is a happy-go-lucky guy. His ambition is to meet his childhood crush Megha(Megha Akash) who has gone to US. After his Visa being rejected three times, Ranga finds an innovative way to land in USA and meets Megha in a road trip from New York city. He gets close to her and falls in love with her eventually. Megha too falls for Ranga.  When it is time for proposal, both back off for a reason. Then Megha comes back to India with her family. What happens then? Will Ranga wins the love of Megha? Forms the crux of the movie.

Nitiin is the biggest saving factor of the movie. He looks in good shape and carried a confident body language. On the other side, Megha Akash looked cute and her performance is beautiful.  Nitin and Megha's chemistry worked well. Rao Ramesh, Narra Srinu, Madhu, Satya, Prabhas Sreenu played their parts well and made their presence felt.

Technical Aspects

Though it is a routine story, Krishna Chaitanya has shown command over dialogues and in comedy segment. Nataraja Subramanian is the cinematographer of the movie. The camera work is excellent in the film and the DOP showed both the actors in a beautiful way. SR Sekhar's editing is good and neat. But a few scenes in the second half could have been chopped off. The music by SS Thaman is good.  He elevated the film with his background score perfectly.  The story given by Trivikram Srinivas is routine. The dialogues by Krishna Chaitanya are good. The production values maintained by producers are rich.

Verdict :

Nithiin and Megha's meaty performance and comedy makes Chal Mohan Ranga a decent one-time watch.
