Rashmika Mandanna who mesmerized the audience recently with her performance in "Dear Comrade" is currently busy shooting for Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru. The Geetha Govindam actress also has Allu Arjun's Icon and Karthi's untitled film in her kitty. Now the latest buzz says that Rashmika is all set to make her Bollywood debut soon with Jersey remake in which Shahid Kapoor is playing lead role.

"Shahid and the makers met and they were brainstorming on who could be cast as the heroine and they all thought of Kannada actress Rashmika Mandanna who's a huge star already," a source revealed.

"The producers were on the lookout for a fresh face and if Rashmika gives her nod, this will also mark her Hindi debut. She has watched Jersey and given how Kabir Singh has fared at the ticket windows, she has also expressed an interest in the Hindi remake. But the modalities and remunerations need to be finalised for now. The makers are planning to roll out the film by November this year," the source added.

There are also reports in the Bollywood corridor that Shahid Kapoor is demanding a fee of Rs 40 crore for the jersey remake of South’s superstar Nani’s film. Talking about the film Jersey, it is a sports drama film in which actor Nani is seen in the role of a tented but unsuccessful cricketer.
